Born in the 1970s in Shenxianding, a remote mountain village in Yuxian County, Fang Wan Zhi experienced both family and emotional setbacks that forced her to leave university at the age of 20. Determined to start over, she moved to Shenzhen, where she befriended Li Juan and Hao Qian Qian during her early years as a migrant worker. Supporting one another through challenges, the three women witnessed and participated in Shenzhen’s remarkable transformation. 

Together, they progressed from factory work to foreign trade and eventually built their own toy brand.

Along the way, Fang faced numerous obstacles, including business failures and betrayals by Huang Yao Dong and Yan Zi Wei. Yet she remained steadfast, continuously improving herself through night classes and English studies. Embracing the opportunities created by China’s reform and opening-up, she repeatedly rebuilt her life and career with resilience and determination. Her perseverance became a source of inspiration for those around her, helping them find their own paths to happiness.

In middle age, after successfully leading her company to a public listing, Fang entrusted its management to her team. Accompanied by her adopted daughter, Fang Miao Miao, and her trusted companion, Gao Xiang, she returned to her hometown of Shenxianding, where she chose to settle and begin a new chapter in the place where her journey first began.
