Film production is a journey of self-discovery and G.H.Y Culture & Media aims to create a platform to expose young filmmakers to a range of cinematic styles, ideas and approaches.
To strengthen its media capabilities, the Group partnered with local institutions to organize a series of workshops to expand opportunities for local talent. We worked with the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) to introduce a suite of programmes to help aspiring talent become industry-ready and support media professionals in upgrading their skills.
Masterclasses for young writers, conducted by award-winning scriptwriters such as Guo Jingyu and Xiao Ji Xiang Tian enhance film-making and script-writing techniques. Young filmmakers can present their ideas and broaden their perspectives as industry veterans such as renowned movie actress Yue Lina and actor Tay Ping Hui share life experiences through panel discussions.
With these initiatives, G.H.Y Culture & Media aims to build a pipeline of global-ready talent for local and overseas work opportunities.
